perfscale is a load test automation platform built for modern development teams. We help engineers catch performance regressions before users do — with zero infrastructure to manage and integrations that fit into any CI/CD pipeline.
Our mission
Performance bugs are silent. They don't throw exceptions. They don't appear in error logs. They show up at 3 AM on Black Friday when your checkout API starts timing out and your on-call engineer is staring at a dashboard they've never seen before.
We started perfscale because we've lived that nightmare — and because we knew it was preventable. The tools existed (k6, Locust, JMeter), but the infrastructure, workflow integration, and observability layer to make them actually useful in daily development didn't.
Our mission is to make continuous performance testing the norm for every engineering team, not just those with dedicated SRE teams or unlimited DevOps budgets.

Developer-first
Every decision starts with the question: does this make the developer's life easier? We write tests in JavaScript, not XML. We ship integrations for GitHub, not just Jenkins.
Transparency
We open-source our test agent and publish our roadmap. We don't believe in vendor lock-in — your k6 and Locust scripts work anywhere.
Reliability as a culture
We eat our own dogfood. perfscale is tested with perfscale. Our own p99 latency targets are public, and we hold ourselves to them.
Small team, big leverage
We're a small, focused team. No committees, no design-by-consensus. We move fast because every person owns their domain end-to-end.
Our story
2022
The idea
After years running performance engineering at large tech companies, our founders kept hitting the same wall: load testing platforms were either too complex or too limited. We decided to build the tool we always wanted.
2023
Private beta
50 early teams joined the waitlist. We shipped the first k6 integration, GitHub Actions support, and real-time metrics dashboard. NPS was 72 from day one.
2024
Public launch
perfscale opened to everyone. We added Locust support, multi-region load generation, and Grafana/InfluxDB exporters. Crossed 500 active teams.
2025
Scale
1,000+ engineering teams. 1M+ tests per month. Launched the enterprise plan with SSO, RBAC, and dedicated support. We're just getting started.
